Kindergarten - Mrs Edwards

The Kindergarten Room is an exciting place of learning as children learn to read, write and engage with numbers. Students start by learning the letter sounds and move onto blending sounds to read and write words. Ulmarra Public School's Home Reading program is run daily to support this process, a program which is strongly supported by our parents and carers. Students also enjoy using Reading Eggs and Mathletics online literacy and numeracy program both at home and at school. A range of hands-on maths activities are engaged in daily to develop children's number sense and mathematical thinking. Kindergarten uses Interactive White Board activities daily in all key learning areas.
